Client relationship manager
Catherine joined ERA in 2014 with a wealth of previous experience working professionally with clients as a chartered surveyor and from running her own successful hospitality business. This helped Catherine to understand and be the trusted advisor to a broad range of client companies from law firms to MATS and colleges, retailers to food producers.
With a focus on helping clients to optimise their spending as best befits them, allowing the savings to follow. Catherine wants clients to gain visibility of their spending and see new opportunities with products, services and suppliers so they can make informed choices.
Clients want access to a deeper market knowledge and insight, and resource. Catherine facilitates this through ERA’s award-winning network of specialists to deliver outstanding results, with minimal client input, giving a boost to their profits and cashflow.
Catherine also teams up with ERA partners to provide specialist reviews of clients’ service charge, estate and occupancy costs. Its an area of expense often taken for granted or loosely benchmarked at best. However detailed analysis can reveal significant overcharges and disputed costs in a variety of areas covered by a lease. These are open to challenge and negotiation with landlords usually resulting in a mutually agreeable solution and a welcome cost reduction in a key area of expense.
In particular, substantial savings have been achieved where landlords try to make costly energy efficient replacements to plant and equipment in buildings that are not deemed entirely necessary.
