20+ years working with financial services clients whilst at the London Stock Exchange, and at business/IT consultancies and software houses. Clients include banks, asset & wealth managers, hedge funds, and corporates. Led sales and account management teams, responsible for revenue generation and go to market strategy/execution. International experience including South Africa, Russia & CEE, Nordics.
10 years working with SMEs. Within a family business (5 hotels and export trading) in procurement and marketing roles. Then 5 years as a consultant advising SMEs on turnaround, growth, profitability, BPR, across multiple verticals inc. FMCG, food and drinks, print, pharmaceuticals, and professional services. Early career in public sector strategy and change management. MBA from Warwick Business School.
The common strand throughout Shehzad’s career has been to seek to understand client needs and then to assemble appropriate teams to deliver optimal and sustainable solutions for his clients.
